Gerald Culliford History - Part 3

11 Years ago, on the 14th February 2007 Oliver Webb, James Semmens and Simon Sands met with the company accountants and signed the paperwork for the third generation of Gerald Culliford Ltd. that exists today.
With Oliver’s background in sales and marketing and James’ degree in Geology, and 7 years prior experience of working in the business, it was decided that together, they would form the perfect partnership to continue the high standards the company had earned since Gerald’s tenure.

One of the first projects embarked on by James and Oliver was recognising the necessity that Quartz Composite had within the market, so they embarked on a mission to find the right product for Gerald Culliford Limited to stock. With the large brands dominating the market they wanted to offer something a bit different, a product that they could stake their reputation on. This was a difficult task, and they almost abandoned the search, until the opportunity with Samsung Radianz arrived.

Since 2011 the Radianz product has gone from strength to strength. Their products are manufactured to a very high standard, as you would expect from Korean manufacturing, and the colour pallet is different to the average European brand. Their commitment to supporting the product and customers is second to none. The range now includes the popular Denali Cloud and Lucern Lake, and as writing 7 new colours are arriving to bolster the offering for 2018. To see our full range click here.
In October 2015 they formed another partnership with LUNDHS Real Stone of Norway, the quarry owners of the classic natural stones Blue Pearl, Emerald Pearl and Labrador Antique. They have branded their natural stone as LUNDHS Real Stone, an innovative concept to allow them to market the materials to the end user and give brand recognition to a natural stone which had never been done before. Oliver and James believe that their commitment to high quality materials marry exactly with the company values.
The business has continued to grow throughout this time, the iconic old Jones crane upgraded, 2 new additional vehicles added to the fleet, and the showroom and offices have had a much needed revamp to aid the customer experience. They are happy to say that they offer a truly broad range of materials, and probably the largest range available of man-made and natural materials in one place in the UK.

As Gerald Culliford Limited enter 2018, they have the exciting addition and introduction of full-bodied ceramic slabs from Sapien Stone, a new range of Radianz marble effect slabs and more products and projects in the pipeline. Gerald Culliford Limited is continuing to cement themselves as the place in London & the South East for fine quality materials. The future looks very exciting indeed.
