Basaltina – 8213

Basaltina is one of the most prolific European Lava Stones. The quarry is situated in Bagnoregio, in the heart of Italy, used since Roman times, and marketed worldwide with the registered trademark Basaltina®. It comes in many finishes, but most common in the UK is Honed and Filled. As with many materials, different layers from the quarries can produce different strengths in the material, it is used for a vast amount of projects, from kitchen counter tops, to internal flooring, monuments, and external projects.
