A particularly robust Brazilian quartzite distinguished by its origin as a meta‑conglomerate, more specifically a brecciated conglomerate. Formed when earlier quartzite pebbles were cemented together and later fractured under tectonic pressure, Cicala contains 70–80% angular clasts, with some individual pieces reaching up to 50 cm. This complex geological history gives the stone exceptional structural resilience and a uniquely expressive visual identity. Its surface blends gentle greens, subtle greys, and delicate creams, creating a calm yet striking aesthetic that reads both contemporary and naturally intricate.
